Selected data:

At the end of 2021, 36,324 migrant workers were employed in Israel through the bilateral agreements.

During 2021, the Center received 27,622 phone calls, of which 3,913 were new inquiries.

17 % of the inquiries in 2021 were about wages and 24% were about the employer’s conduct; 6% had to do with the pandemic; similar to the previous year, 69% of the inquiries were requests for information and they received a direct response from the Call Center operator; the largest share of inquiries (24%) came from construction workers from China, followed by construction workers from Ukraine (20%).

We are grateful to all the partners running the Center for their useful comments, which contributed to the production of the booklet.
