Academic Collaborations
Center for International Migration and Integration is starting its fourth year of fruitful academic collaborations with international MA programs. Throughout 2021 academic year, CIMI is hosting interns from "GLOCAL", MA in International Development who work with us on enhancing migrants’ community development and leadership through digital skills, while in past years students in the programs worked on financial and occupational re-integration of migrant workers in their country of origin as well as migrants’ digital literacy and platforms. In addition, CIMI hosts interns from the MA program for Global Migration and Policy who continuously work on various issues of labour migration and asylum (i.e. orientation kit for caregivers in Israel, mapping of asylum seekers’ populations), most recent area of investigation is migrant workers’ family ties.
