Summary of the year 2022 - labor migration

Since the figures for December 2022 are not yet available, we have used the average figures for the previous months in the annual calculation. The figures do not include Ukraine.

In 2022, we broadened our activities in the area of migrant workers significantly. Almost twice as many workers came to Israel through the bilateral agreements than in the previous year. In partnership with PIBA, we helped those workers in the process of recruitment and interviews, in conducting the orientation program before and after their arrival, in providing information through the social media, and in providing ongoing help through the Call Center. In the coming year, we will continue to ensure that foreign workers arrive in Israel in an orderly manner and that their rights are protected.
