CIMI and the Institute for Immigration and Social Integration at the Ruppin Academic Center held a joint seminar on the changing realities of labor migration in Israel following October 7.
Researchers, policymakers, civil society representatives, and enforcement authorities discussed new migration trends, public attitudes toward foreign workers, the impact on agriculture and infrastructure, and the growing challenges of regulation, workers’ rights, and human trafficking prevention.
The seminar emphasized the need for coordinated, evidence-based policy to address the long-term implications of migration changes in Israel.
