2011 – President’s Medal for the fight against human trafficking

In 2011, CIMI’s work with asylum seekers earned the organization the President’s Medal for its fight against human trafficking. This mark of appreciation was awarded by then President Shimon Peres and then Minister of Justice Yaakov Neeman citing three aspects of the organization’s work: prevention of trafficking, enforcement of laws against it, and the protection of victims.
