In 2016, CIMI was officially recognized by the State of Israel for its work in the field of migrants and migration and it won a tender issued by PIBA that would make CIMI a partner in coordinating the processes for the recruitment and employment of foreign workers under the terms of the bilateral agreements and in developing programs and services for labor migrants in Israel. Ever since, the organization has been involved in advancing and implementing agreements with additional countries in essential branches of industry and labor and assuring the workers’ welfare.
